Baccarat Rules

Cards are drawn by rule. Tens and faces count as zero. Other cards count as their number, and only the last digit of the total matters. A starting total of 8 or 9 stands. Lower totals draw under a fixed chart. Once you know that, the game is a choice of side and stake.

Banker wins slightly more often than player because of the drawing chart. Tables charge for that. This practice hand pays banker at 1.95 for a winning stake including the return of stake, which is a 5% skim on the profit. Player pays even money. Tie pays 8 to 1.

Baccarat Tie Bet

Ties happen less often than either side. The payout looks kind and the price is usually poor. If you sprinkle a tie bet on every hand because the button is there, you have changed the game you came to play.

  • Player and banker stakes are the ordinary game.
  • Patterns on a bead plate do not schedule the next hand.
  • Demo rupees only on this page.

Baccarat Demo

Choose a side, set a stake, and deal. The page follows a simplified draw chart and tells you both totals. A miss keeps the stake. A hit returns the amount shown in the line under the table.

Baccarat Banker Bet

Once you know the chart, baccarat is a choice of side and stake. You don't draw a third card yourself. Banker wins a bit more often, which is why this table shaves a winning banker return to 1.95 times the stake. Player is even money. The tie looks kind because 8 to 1 is a big number, and it hits less often than either side. Sprinkle it on every hand because the button is there and you've changed the game you came to play.

A run of banker on a bead plate doesn't schedule the next hand. Patterns are a diary. The next deal is still the chart and a fresh shoe in the browser.

Baccarat FAQ

Can I draw a third card myself?

No. Third cards follow the chart, which is the point of baccarat.

Why is banker not a pure even-money bet?

Because it wins a bit more often. The practice table shaves the winning banker return.

Is the tie a good price?

It is the bet most people overuse. The payout is large because the hit is uncommon, and the gap still favours the table.
