European roulette practice wheel

One zero on the wheel. That's the whole reason red isn't quite a coin flip.

European Roulette

Red, black, odd, even, 1 to 18, and 19 to 36 would be coin flips on a wheel with no zero. The zero takes those bets and pays nobody, except the rare straight bet on zero itself. Over time that is a house edge a bit under 2.7%, which is the 97.3% return people quote.

American wheels add a double zero and are a worse price. If a lobby does not say which wheel you are on, ask before you care about the colour.

Roulette Bets

  • Outside bets pay 1 to 1 and lose on zero.
  • A straight number pays 35 to 1 on a standard layout. You still lose on the other 36 pockets.
  • Dozen bets and columns sit between those two. This practice wheel does not list them, so the lesson stays small.
  • Neighbours and announced bets are extras for a live table. They are still bets.

Systems that raise the stake after a loss do not remove the zero. They change how fast the balance moves.

Roulette Demo

Select one or more chances. If you select several, the stake is split across them. A straight number is optional. The ball is a random pocket from 0 to 36. Returns are demo rupees.

Roulette Zero

Red after a run of black isn't owed anything. The wheel doesn't keep a debt. Outside bets, red, black, odd, even, 1 to 18, 19 to 36, would be coin flips on a wheel with no zero. The zero takes them. Over time that's a house edge a bit under 2.7%, the 97.3% return people quote. An American wheel adds a second zero and is a worse price. If a lobby doesn't say which wheel you're on, ask before you care about the colour.

There is no half-back on this practice wheel. Dozen bets and columns aren't listed, so the lesson stays small. Neighbours and announced bets on a live table are still bets. A winning spin stays in demo rupees.
